Evaluation on beneficiary application of knowledge and skills - 2016 learning-related programming

Evaluation on beneficiary application of knowledge and skills - 2016 learning-related programming_date.pdf

Overview

Given the scale of learning-related programming in UNITARâ??s overall programme of work, accounting for 60 per cent of beneficiaries and 67 per cent of events in 2016, it is important to examine under what circumstances learners have applied or transferred knowledge and skills acquired from UNITAR training. Evaluating the effectiveness of learning depends not only on beneficiary reaction or the degree to which learning outcomes are achieved, but also the extent to which knowledge and skills acquired from training are applied to practice, and ultimately, produce positive changes in beneficiariesâ?? performance in their workplaces.
