Vacancy Announcement Details

The ILO is seeking expressions of interest for a team of consultants comprising an international consultant (home-based or based in Bangladesh) and a national consultant based in Bangladesh to conduct a final independent evaluation of the “Application of Migration Policy for Decent Work of Migrant Workers” funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

Candidates/teams intending to submit an expression of interest must supply the following information:

1)             A description of how the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience are relevant to the required qualifications of this assignment (See Section 12 in the ToRs).

2)             A list of previous evaluations (including economic evaluation and cost effectiveness analysis) that are relevant in relation to the context and subject matter of this assignment.

3)             A statement confirming the availability of the candidates to conduct this assignment and the daily professional fees expressed in US dollars.

4)             A copy of the candidates’ CVs (which must include information about the qualifications held by the candidates).

5)             A statement confirming that the candidates had no previous involvement in the delivery of the “Application of Migration Policy for Decent Work of Migrant Workers” project in Bangladesh or have a personal relationship with any of the ILO Officials who are engaged in the project.

6)             Examples of evaluation products for projects related to labour migration and example of economic evaluation using cost effectiveness analysis  (full documents) 

7)             The names of two referees who managed the evaluations mentioned in the #6.

Please note that special consideration will be given to applications from teams of consultants as opposed to individual applicants.
