IAEA OIOS Evaluation Policy 2011

Overview

This policy describes the role of independent evaluations performed by the Agency’s Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS). It describes how OIOS conducts evaluations and the roles and responsibilities of the different parties involved. Programme managers are encouraged to conduct their own assessments, in collaboration with their staff, as part of their ongoing programme management responsibilities. This policy does not cover self-assessments conducted by programme managers, although many parts of the policy could serve as reference for such assessments.
